Pre-Poll talk: SoZ-Immortal plan

pm me then

I wouldn't tell them about it.

Saying, "We're gonna waste 200 shields on a wonder that we'll get troops out of every 5 turns" essentially says to C3B, "build 7 Immortals and take it from us!".

Note: The reason I don't trust them 100% is because:

a - They wanted us off that mountain.
b - They wanted that mountain for themselves.

What's in a mountain? Why, a very strategic sentry point, of course! Oh, and we should be building TOWARDS C3B, and fast!

We could pull a c3b and say.....

"Your actions have insulted us!!! You must move that warrior."

And then I'm sure he'd move them just like we moved our warriors away from the canal.

I don't think they would. Or if they did, they'd move it back after we had moved ours out of sight...

And we haven't got any troops capable of killing it yet, if it's fortified on the mountain, so they have nothing to fear so far.

Akots, what have you possibly got to say that may not be public?? Do PM me if yo have anything to say, though I don't want secret plans within this teams.

"Pull a C3B"... That's a good one. ;)

Quite amusing actually (Edit: this referring to the "pull a C3B on them" comment) Why do we trust them so much in the first place? I agree, they havent exactly been straightforward and kind to us. We need harsher diplomacy to them... no offence to Emp but the seems to be a little too fond of them.

Doesn't the fact that their voting around 40 no- 4 yes to one of our approvals and their stating they don't trust us reason enough for us not to trust them? It seems like we are doing all the work and giving in throughout the entire relationship.

By receiveing the pm you agree to the following:

"I promise that I will not sign up for any other team in this competition. I will not give any info from the CFC team to any other team, or any other individual not in the CFC team. I will also never visit any other site's confidential ISDG threads or try to obtain confidential information about the game from members of other teams in the ISDG. The information I receive in the pm would remain confidential, would not be disclosed and discussed even with other people who received the similar pm." It is mostly the copy of the statement from CDZ sign up thread.

Please re-confirm. I would also like the same statement to be posted by everyone signed up for the CFC team (without pm) and for new citizen sign up.

Akots, I strongly believe that everyone who signs up for access to the secured forums is by definition agreeing to most, if not all, of the pledge you asked everyone to make, with the exception of keeping the contents of the PM secret from other members of the CFC team. Most of it is also implied by the ISDG rules.

If I'm chosen as justice of the court, I'll of course need to see this PM, especially since it seems to be getting treated like there is something borderline about it with respect to the rules.

Aye, why can't all of CFC's team know?

I think you'd have so many people swearing to something that they have already sworn to that you may as well post it

OK, you wanted you got it.

I have some confidential source claiming that there is a spy reading these threads and reporting their entire contents to another team. Who is that person and which team, I don't know. I'm also not sure whether that source is reliable. Also, I don't have any proof.

Another information is that there is also a spy in C3B team.

Since any reasonable counter-intelligence measures require some confidentiality, I did not want to keep the whole thing open. Now, once this is posted, there is no way to catch the spy.

Hence comes the desire to have a secret chat with C3B.

hmmm... a spy? Until we have firm evidence I don't think we should act upon it. However, we should have our eyes open for any shady business going on.

I doubt there is a spy at C3B, because how many German/English speaking teams would have a Portugese speaker on the team who can read and fully comprehend their posts and then report them back. Unfortunately, it forces us to think twice about people. Anyone who would cheat at a game that is completly meant for fun is... pathetic. :(

Provided this is true.. How did the spy give this information to the other team? If it was via forum perhaps a neutral party in the UN could gain access to all forums and try to make some sense of what has been going on.

Keep in mind, as well, they're mayn't even be a spy...

This is how the whole security/spying debacle got started in the other mulitsite demogame. Zarn probably remembers that too. It didn't go over too well with the moderators here when people started implying that specific individuals were spies and when polls were opened up about those individuals being spies.

So, just an open warning to everyone, tread lightly with this subject.
