Catholics aren't even a majority in The US, The US was founded by distinctly non-catholic, borderline agnostics, it promotes the absolute neccesity of keeping the church and state seperate, and is the driving force behind modern masterialistic western culture. etc.

P.S, as far as I'm aware, the US also 'promotes' idolatry, sodomy and pronography. In fact, the exccess of the American lifestyle is even more pronounced than those in Europe.

So, to sum up, I find the US more of a threat to the word of our good lord Jesu than Denmark.

P.S, the foundation of The US was inspired by enlightnement, rationalist philosophy, which you despise, and enocuraged the French Revolution which you similarly despise.

In this sense, it is possibly the main agitator for everything you hate about the modern world.

Hmm the only thing that caused the French Revolution were lawyers and I don't like laywers anyway . And I am educated, I learned the pain that the church has caused, even to their own people. The times of the Middle Ages, where people lived for God. Why the hell do they call it the dark ages for then? Because people starved and lived for god. Well, then why was it so bad for? Because people lived for 30 years and died, with no life lived. I think God would be much happier with ones who follow good lives, are kind and charitable, rather than belittle others with their garbage. And whats wrong with baseball and Tom Brokaw??? The US of A was founded on one central principle.

No, it's not "All men are created equal" unless by MEN you mean WHITE, MALE CHRISTIAN PROPERTY OWNERS.

The principle is YOU CANNOT TRUST ANYONE. EVER.

The people don't trust the government, that's why we resist taxation more strenuously than any other advanced nation.

The government doesn't trust the people, that's why we have the FBI to spy on our own citizens and the aptly, if ironically, named USA PATRIOT act that assumes that everyone is a terrorist until proven innocent.

So is it any surprise that we don't trust the "one true church", whatever people say that is? How do we know that church is acting in OUR best interests? Of course the answer is that most of the time it ISN'T. The church may preach the words of God, but it is corrupted by the deeds of men.

What I have to wonder about Defensor Fidei is what he hopes to gain by preaching about this old-school Catholic church? The power structure that promoted those old beliefs no longer exists. There is no organization to convert people to! And if you're going to be Martin Luther in reverse, why start proselytizing on a gaming forum?

The only thing one could possibly gain from these rants is a thrill from seeing people's outrage over them. In other words, a typical attention seeker.

But he does have a good point about the television-worshiping American masses of today. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
