then click on the middle screenshot. Over at Apolyton, Firaxis has already confirmed that it is an old screenie of the editor but it at least gives us an idea.
It looks like diplomats and spies are in the game, but are more of an abstracted function (not units) and highly dependent on your government type.
I suppose that makes sense.
I wonder if diplomatic and espionage systems can be carried out outside of the normal trade/diplomacy function? Maybe it'll be more like CTP or EU where you can send a diplomat to schmooze with 'em, buttering them up for a deal you've got in mind...
I'm dying to find out more info on air missions and air untis which will be available as well as the espionage/spy options. Hopefully there is the option to assasinate a great leader.
