I'm another tortured soul who registered to claim Sisiutil's great work here. I've been lurking since I've got my first Civ IV copy (before Warlords expansion came out) and there was nothing that would made me register (lurker's role is easier), but then I've found this story... and I was unable to avoid saying "Thanks Sisiutil, you're making a great job here"... 
BTW, when you finish with that book of yours, please post its name and where shall I buy it, I'd be glad to find out how do you write something Non-FanArt. If it's half as good as this, perhaps it might be worth a read.

It's a historic fantasy set during the Trojan War. I don't know if I'll be able to sell it, but I'm certainly having fun writing it.

ooh I'd definitely buy it. Sounds like my favorite genre, and with you writing it, it's gotta be quite amazing. If you don't end up selling it, would you mind emailing your fans(including me) a copy? I understand there might be a problem with copyrights and someone stealing your work. But still , would that be possible?

Thanks but no thanks. My wife has published some of her work through on-line e-publishers. More copies of her stuff get pirated than sold.

Yeah, you pretty much have to line up an agent before a publisher these days--the publishers, from what I understand, won't even look at an unsolicited manuscript anymore. Since you asked, I will share my experiences with the process once I get going with it. For now, I'm just writing.
Hey Sisiutil! I'm one of those lazy bastards called a 'lurker' who just hovers and reads what you active members post. I've gotta say, your writing is some of the best I've read, and I can't wait for you to go ahead and finish your book so I can go and buy that, along with finishing the amazing yarn you have created here.
