Why in 1939 AD Privateer attack a destroyer? Pirate ship doesn't have any chance to win against a destroyer....

I Was playing As Moa And laging behind i had 6 Privateer and i was at war with Sitting bull which was The 2 in the lead. i found one Sitting bull destroyer passing one out of 6 citys, i had no money so i cant update, what the hell im losing lets start the end, well one Privateer out of my six destroy A destroyer lol no damage to me that was the end of my luck
