Problem loading save games?

Does anyone else have this problem? My saved games will not load. I have tried the auto saves, a quick save, and a manual save. None of them will load up my game from last night.

I had this once before but it was only with a quick save, my auto saves loaded fine.

Now none are working.

Which revision are you using? I remember this problem was present a couple of weeks ago but Afforess solved it and last revision should give no problems.

Actually looking in the Alt-Ctrl-O options it says ROM-AND 2.2 beta 2 (Rev728). I must have downloaded some old version some how. I thought I had downloaded the latest version.

This is the most up to date version.

RoM 2.92 was Zappara's last official Rise of Mankind build. That was over 3 years ago. The REV in that version is unstable. RoM 2.92 without using REV as an Option is very stable.

Rise of Mankind - A New Dawn (AND for short)(this subforum) is the home of AND. AND was a Modmod for RoM. With version 1.75 AND became it's own Stand a lone Mod. It is now in 2.2 with fixes and updates occurring on a pretty regular pattern. This is the most stable version available.

I am running Rise of Mankind - A New Dawn 2.2 beta 2 (Rev728) I downloaded RoM-AnD_repo.exe So I assume this is the repository version from SVN.

I am running Beta then, correct? I downloaded the nightly I guess, instead of 2.1 final?

So I have encountered a bug with saved games that I should report? I just want to make sure I am correct.

Nope, that is way out of date. Months old.

No, I suggest you download rev730; it's much more stable than 2.1 final. Moreover many things have changed since 2.1 so your save won't probably work anyway.

Wizards probably don't need to sleep much.

Also, MFW I got busy for a month or two back during rev685, and just noticed it's up to rev733 now.
