Problem with a national wonder edited.

Hi, I'm modding a Nubian Civilization. I made ​​great progress in this project.
I want to change the "National Epic" into a "Festival of Djebel Barkal"; keep +25% greatpeople,PrereqBuildingClasses (-1: for 1 monument in each city) and add +4 culture +2 happiness and 1 free great general.

I have problems ingame: icon doesn't appear in tech trees, impossible to build/choose the national wonder (doesn't appear in city), and huge bugs in civilopedia.

I've an other problem on this last files too, the ResourceQuantityModifiers traits don't work.

First, you screwed up with the Building Class. You've made your new building part of the National Epic building class, which is fine if you want to replace the existing National Epic with this new one (which you do), but then you've created an entry in the BuildingClasses table. (You do NOT do this when adding a UB.) This shouldn't cause it to fail, though.

Second, I can't evaluate this as I'm not at home, but you set Start_Region_Priority to REGION_JUNGLE. Is that a direct copy from an existing civ, or are you just assuming that it'll work?

The third problem is the most likely. You say that the Civilopedia is acting strange; I'm assuming it means that you're seeing TXT_KEY entries. The most common culprit for that is duplication of entries; the game can't handle two separate declarations of any tag. So check your city names; is it possible that one of your city names (say, Khartoum) is already being used by some other civilization in the game?

Fourth, 50 is awfully high for FLAVOR_WONDER. Most Wonders are in the 10-20 range for that one. Again, not going to stop it from working.

Can you play this civ at all? That is, are you confirming that it's applying the civ's traits and unique units, where it's just the one building that's failing, or is it all failing? Since I can't try it out myself, I also can't tell you if your icon files are wrong. Have you ever added icons for anything else? (There's a very specific format you need to have them work right, so it's easy to get it wrong.)
 
You means i have to delete CIV5BuildingClasses.xml and <Building_PrereqBuildingClasses>? I just deleted these lines/files and it's the same: build icon appear on the "DOM" page, but it's missing in the Tech-tree and unable in city.

For the start location, I did not really pay attention for now. I wanted the nubian have the same start that Egypt. I'll add some <Civilization_Start_Region_Avoid></Civilization_Start_Region_Avoid> later.

For the Civilopedia: no TXT_KEY problems, it's just impossible to consult leaders, units, wonders (some of them works for ancient era). The Civilopedia bug appeared only after I created the unique building.

I'll decreased FLAVOR_WONDER to 25, I want IA built it in priority.

The first leader trait is working not the second. Icon/.dds, unique unit are working too.

Spotted it: in the Building definition, for BuildingClass, you have BUILDING_NATIONAL_EPIC. It should be BUILDINGCLASS_NATIONAL_EPIC.

Also, in the Trait's ResourceQuantityModifier table, you misspelled "Ivory". You put RESOURCE_IVOIRY. This'd cause the entire table to fail, which would explain why half your trait doesn't work.

As for the rest:

What I mean is that if you're adding a building that's intended to replace an existing building (which is what you've done), you don't create a new Building Class. You already weren't using it in the Buildings definition, so removing it wasn't going to cause the mod to start working; I was just pointing out a mistake.

One thing: in your screenshots, it looks like you're using the (French?) version, but your mod is adding Language_en_US entries. I know that the fallback method SHOULD allow that to work, but have you tried putting in entries in whichever language you use?

Thanks, it's working now :goodjob:, and the civilopedia bug was caused by buildingclass's problem.
I play in french and I want create this mod in english. A recent patch solved the compatibility between <Language_en_US> and <Language_en_FR>.
