Problems Downloading 1.61 Patch

Anybody else having problems downloading the 1.61 vanilla patch at the 2k game site? I keep getting a message that the page will not open. Is there another place to get this patch? Please don't send me to places like www.HackerJoe'sCiv4CorruptedFiles.com. I don't like to download 'unofficial' patches.

1.61 is not the latest patch. You want 1.74 (you can get it here, and yes it is an official patch). You can also use the in-game update utility.
