problems with civ 4

Hey everyone im new here so I hope someone can help me.My comp. has a amd 64 pros. that runs at aprrox.2.5 gh,an ati x 600 vid card,1 gig ram.My problem is I cant get it to run,ive downloaded the 1.52 patch allready and it still wont run can some help please! thanks

What happens when u try to play? does it just not do anything? or do u get the screen with the turning world and nothin else?

Thanks jensen, it goes to the load screen then tries to load for a few min. then it say that there was a problem and asks if I want to send a report to microsoft.

Is it the load screen at the start befor u even get into the game or is it the load screen to start playin after u picked all your stuff?

Are all of your Drivers up-to-date?

have u tryed to uninstall then reinstall?

Also are u in the USA or Canada? have u tried to call tech support?

Run the DxDiag and post it on here someone may be able to see your problem in that.

If you dont know how go to start, run, type in dxdiag, say yes or ok or some **** (if its your first time running), wait for it to load up all the way then Safe all info (you'll see that at the bottom) safe it to some place you'll remember like to desktop then post it on here.
