Problems with Start-Up

So a buddy of mine downloaded the mod for the first time today, but every time he tries to launch the mod through BTS, he gets a bunch of xml error messages, then BTS crashes altogher.

the messages include
Failure to load: rom_gametext_hints.xml
thunderbird_gametexts.xml
CIV4SpecialistInfos.xml

Then a run time error that forces Civ 4 BTS.exe to stop working

We've tried manually installing 3.19 patch and verified all his caches.

Sounds like he did not remove an old version first. Delete the current Caveman2Cosmos folder and recreate it from the download.

Actually, it appears that he took the old Custom_Civilizations folder from v34 and dropped it into v35

We downloaded v35 again and everything worked just find.
