Project preview; Early industrial units

Just out of interest, are you still planning on finishing the coal battleship, super ironclad, ship of the line etc. I was looking forward to these graphics for a while..ive been using some of the original graphics in my game at the mo to fill an and it is confusing when a ship of the line and a frigate look exactly the same

The Dread was supeb, and in my civ3.bic has pride of place between Ironclad (your tall sail one of course!) and the Destroyer!

I too would like to see him finish the Coal Powered Battleship and the Super/Heavy Ironclad . TVA22, The last post SM made was in the Alexander Units thread. In the time I was waiting for the units, I became Military Leader in the CivIII Cemogame II and forgoten about this thread. Well sometimes people cannot help it when Real Life happens.

Hello everybody, I'm sorry but I'm realy busy with work at the moment, the company I work for has taken on more work than it can cope with and hired a bunch of idiot temp workers to fill the gap (only joking, i was also an idiot temp worker once ).
I'm geting repetitive strain injury from trying to type at double speed all day and going insane ranting at people who cant fill in aplication forms properly

Any way, as it stands I have no real plans to do the coal powered battle ship or super dreadnaught at the moment, my current 3d program is O.k. for animating when Ive got all day 24/7 to do it, but too slow when Ive only got weekends; Hopefully I'm going to get a proper 3d program soon, (I actualy get paid next week, 6 weeks pay all in one go!) and I'll be able to either import my old models or make new ones (even better), so expect something good, but not right at the moment.

Hmm. Since I do not want to see a good Idea getting dusty and Since Smoking Mirror has gone AWOL. I have decided to Make a Cut & Paste version of both the Super Ironclad and the Dreadnought . Though the Death Animations would be tricky .

Since It would be a cut and paste process, It would not be the same as Smoking Mirror's Animations but it would be close .
