Proposal: Ministry of Finance and Labor

If you hand the power of the slider over to the President, I will strongly oppose it. The president has to much power right now, you should consider yourselves lucky that I've yet to try to change that.

Octavians orginally proposal was fine, let's stick with it.

Strider, you feel the following duties of the President gives the President too much power?

Code:
    c. Is responsible for determining what to do with Great
        Leaders.
    d. Is responsible for worker activities.
    e. Is responsible for policies, plans and agendas for
departments when these have not been set by a
        department.
    f. Is responsible for policies, plans and agendas for
items and activities that have not been defined as a
task of an individual department or leader.

Yes, not only does e give the president alot of power (as it is almost impossible for a leader to remember every single detail when making an instruction, a natural human flaw), but it is likely that it would be to late to find the will of the citizenry, and the citizenry will largely be ignored.

I think you and I have a different interpretation of section e. My take on it is that only if a leader posts no instructions for a chat is the president allowed to make decisions in that area. Do you have a different take?

I have the same take, but I also measure in that the president is not likely to look for the will of the citizenry in these matters, or even look for any department plans over the matter (just incase of a slip of the mind on the leaders part).

Something I would hope you will do in your next term as president ;).
