Often times I'm at work and I want a little diversian but I don't want something vulgar that may upset some of the more conservative employees, so I propose that on each H&J forum link that we require, these pieces of information
1. If it has sound
2. If it is vulgar
that way people who have issues with these could be better warned.

Oh, and people don't wait until this is a rule, just do it now out of general courtesy

Yeah thats quite sensible but on the links with suprises, it would give the suprise away as people would be expecting it. Like the one with the ghost and the sound...

You mean that while you are brwosing the forum at work or school, you would prefer not to open a link screaming at 75 decibels:
"Hey! I am surfing the net and looking at porn!"

Be even worst for the people at school ;)

I think this is a great idea though, but I can see some reason's why it will also take the "funny" out of stuff.

Ever heard of headphones? I hear they're quite cheap these days... ;)

There could be a headphones warning as it would hint at some kind of sound but not neccessarily the image and if you are browsing at work or school then you have probably already made sure that no one can see what you are looking at.
