Okay. At my school there's this gay blocking system. Although it has good intentions (blocking porn, etc... fior students in HS) it blocks things of all sorts. Some categories of pages it blocks include:
1. Forums and message boards
2. Proxies
3. Gaming related stuff
4. Cult and stuff like that (its actually one yes)
5. Many others the school thinks we don't need to be doing at school.

A week ago a kid was playing a game through https://proxify.com and it surpassed the thing. But proxify will eventually get blocked probably, so do you know of any others? Also, if I go to google and type proxify and click it it doesn't work (it's blocked) but when I click https://proxify.com it works??

Anyone know why?

The google link doesn't direct you to the secure (https://) site.

Proxify is just a way to surf the web using a proxy server without actually changing your internet settings. Its pretty slow and doesn't allow you to view most popular sites accurately.

Just google for a list of anonymous proxy servers. The sites will show a list proxy settings that you apply to your internet settings. Its really easy but its trial and error to see which numbers are good. A lot of them get bogged down when too many people use them. There are tens of thousands of proxy servers so there is no way for the school to block them all and they won't even be able to tell which sites you visit.

So if one of them is blocked should I try typing the address in with https? Also, does the secure work for every site or what? Just certain ones?
