[PS3] No games

Okkkayyy soo in the beginnning there were a few online games to join or if i waited long enough a few people would join...i sat for 5hours last night waiting for somebody to join and nothing, no games ever show up anymore to join and im getting quite frustrated... im running my internet from modem straight to ps3 with a cat5 so im not experincing router problems but WTH is the deal here???

i have the same problem. i have not been able to play a multi match in 2-3 days.

I only get game with friends, when we try ranked there is nobody, hell even when we are all online and select ranked we all get seperate rooms each with only use inside, and nobody else comes in... WTH? Have tried multiple times on different days.. dont really care it is more fun playing with friends, but I have yet to play a game with people who are not on friends list, ranked or not... and I have played at least 8 games online..

I played a few ranked games a while ago, but today, since patch 1.10, no joy. Sit in the lobby for ages. Why can't we get a server list on ranked like we do on unranked? Why am I ALWAYS the 1st into my ranked lobby? Why do I NEVER join someone elses lobby? The MP on this is totally messed up.

its exactly the same for me on xbox live. I have sat in a ranked head to head match for 2 hours and no one came. tried again today and still no one came. since i bought the game I haven't seen a single person in a ranked match. When I try to join a player match game there will be 2 or 3 games in the server list if im lucky, and 90% of the time I will get a failed to join message. I have joined 2 player match games and my opponent left after 10 turns.

I figure this is a game specific problem,and not a connection problem since I can pop in halo 3 and find games quick and easy.

Gamespy who is the online developer for this game, is somewhat notorious at low quality online systems.. I remember the first game they provided the online setup for (Star Wars Battlefront) and when they game was released and promised online play, gamespy did not even have the servers up on launch day.. their response was "the game just came out, you will need to wait", they finally got servers up about a month after launch, and even then had serious glitches and lobby / mic problems.. to this day I have not played an online game represented by gamespy that has not had problems, and alot of them.. this one is just another in a long series.. my mic works half the time, ranked rooms do not work as nobody can join them.. joining other player games works half the time.. ya know small stuff like that.. man I wish someone would rival gamepsy..
