ps4 ranged bug

hi ive just got civ 6 on ps4 (with the pre order stuff and expansions)
after playing awhile I found that ranged units (slinger, archer,crossbow, frigate etc) wont fire
I click the fire icon and it cancels off the unit like im pressing cycle
ive tried save and loading
ive tried restarting ps4
even started a new game. built an archer went and found a city declared war but cant fire

Not a bug, you don't need to press on the fire button, just highlight it and then move the cursor on the target on the map and then fire. A bit strange ui solution but it is as it is.
