PTW/C3C Compatibility

I have PTW, but not Conquests. My friend is getting Conquests, but for obvious reasons not PTW. Does Conquests actually come with a copy of PTW, or is it just included on the disk? Will I be able to play multiplayer over the internet with him?

You'll have to get conquests or him PTW.

i had a question along this line and am looking for verification of the above answer. i have civ3gold and was wondering if that's compatable for multiplayer with someone that has conquests.

Isnt Civ3 gold for Civ3 and PTW?

Civ3 gold have civ3 and Play The World. C3C includes PTW. You can't play with C3C, but you both can play multiplayer game together with PTW.
