Xen, you like Nirvana don't you? One of Puddle's hit songs was basically a rip off of Teen Spirit.

yeah, I'm a big fan of Nirvana- and I didnt know that this band is basically new to me- hell, i just found out about them today..

Weird, because they have been around for awhile, at least a year or so on the radios...didn't you ever hear "Control"?

I actualley dont listen tot he radio much- never time really, most of the music I listen to is what I like from what my friends have, or, in this case, from an audio inclusive pop-up

ah no worries. You introduced me to QoTSA and that one song, "go with the flow". The video was probably one of the best I've seen in a while

I don't know too much about puddle, but the songs I've heard from them sounded a bit too generic to me. Then when me and my friend were playing guitar, he showed me how the chords of one of their songs (I believe the "She ****ing hates me" one) was really similar to Teen Spirit.

Well i don't listen to it that much anymore either, but that song was all over the place...the radio, MTV (but mtv sucks) VH1 forever, and they played on award shows.

if you though the song I had in my link was good- you should see one with some real quality in it- but you cant get a good quality version of any of the QoTSA stuff without it being pirated really (well, ther might be this one site which sort of bends the rules- PM me for details )

I agree- the stuff can be rather generic, but its just differnt enough to keep me listining to it for a little while

though latelly, I cant seem to get enough of No Doubt

As i put in my new thread some of the videos i hate, that new no doubt song is horrible (imo) and the video is even worse. it just looks as if she is lip singing, its so bad. all the videos for them are the same (imo).

which one now (there is confusion, as ther eis an actual no doubt song entitled "New", and she dose NOT look like she is lip singing there...)
