thanks heine! haha what can i say amirsan.... this nes isn't nearly as big as yours is right now, maybe someday.... hopefully. oh and starting update now, hopefully i'll be able to get through it before my afternoon class...
 
TIME TO GET COMPLICATED!!!

Geystral Gitulen load on to their newly developed Donen for a voyage across the water to the island directly south of them. The landing is flawless due to the lay of the land described by the Emperor's Kardah Daos. The few locals that are there however put up a fierce but pointless fight, slowing their expansion. Also it is learned that their is a nation on the island of Sumatra, calling themselves the Sumatrans, as expected.

In Sicily Antonio builds triemes and promptly sends it across the sea to land in North Africa. There they find a people who call their lands Carthage. Seeing this and not wishing war, Antonio sends his men south where they find a people known as the Tripolians, who are awed by the warships of Sicily and offer to join their Kingdom. Most interesting to Antonio however is the trade ships from Greece and the warships of the land to the north that is populated by people known as the Romans, Italics, and Etruscans.

In Central America they expand north only to find the Mayans the've heard about have already settled parts of the Yucatan Penninsula. However the Mayans, welcoming the Central Americans share their extensive knowledge of Astronomy with the Central Americans, thus accelerating their wise men's progress on the stars. Further, from the south a people known as the Panamanians are discovered.

On the Arabian Penninsula expansion is accelerated north with the settlement of the town of Al-Medinah. Many settlers flock north to live in this town. From the south a explorer mission from the Nation of Saba, contact the Arabians.

Deep in the Amazon jungle a new leader emerges to unite the tribes. Expansion is quick along the river owing to their ancient knowledge of rafts and small boats, transporting settlers up the mighty Amazon. Expansion to the north, however, is more difficult but eventually succedes.

The Canadian leader Constintine sends his army south to find the Iroquois and they do. Causing the Iroquois scouting party to nearly crap their pants and immediatly halting all Iroquois expansion to the north.

On the Iberian Penninsula a new nation arises, Espinola! They found the city of Madrid and rapidly expand to the north only to find the Catalans to the northeast and the Basques to the Northwest. Espinola scouting parties report that these two new nations severly dislike one another. Also from the west a trading party arrives from a land known as Portugal, bringing gifts for the people of Espinola, which stimulates their economy.

On the Albion Islands (British Isles) the war between the British and Celts enters a new phase as the simple minded Celts are defeated in battle after battle. While having more men the Celts have a strightforward battle doctrine, charge the enemy. The British leader Heine has demonstrated his leadership by pushing them further back and totally destroying their capital city, sending them into disarray. Scattered resistance continues in the south, while most of the celt army escaped north and continues the battle.

I'm not going to put the NPC's up on the front page yet as there are many and as you will see they will constantly be destroyed and new ones will take their place. I'm going to wait until they are more established. Just ask me if you'd like to find out about a particular neighbor of yours.

Story:
King Constantine was pleased with the work of the bushman in finding the Iroqouis. He ordered his diplomat Silver Tongue to contact the leader of the Irqoius and befriend the king. Secertly Constantine also gave orders to his diplomats to spread among the Irqoius people discontent and tempt the great Canadian country withs its booming economy and high education. To help with this end the King ordered the construction of a Libary of Toronto the first of its kind in Canada. He also gave orders to recriut more men into the army for a possible takeover of the iroquis.

With the completion of the Big Fat Thing the Emperor decided that a huge gathering of Soldiers was necessary because of the new threat to the south.

As Daos Mindier, the most respected Kardah Daos at the time, scouted the area's north of the sumatrians where they had not yet taken he had found many villages and whatnot...Not too much of an organised fighting force to stall Geystral expansion to the Sumatrian island.

So it was settled...Daos Mindier would lead 150 Gitulen into the unclaimed parts of the Sumatrian island to make a base in which to invade the Sumatrians in the future

Amon Savag IX Sent Daos Niltrut into the Sumatrian lands disguised as a Sumatrian to study the land scape of the place...And find all possible routes into Sumatria and record it for future refference.

On the other hand Daos Finitrue was busy conquering the southern island...With no more than 100 men.

"HAHA!I've led them right to the trap.Likot Polix you go lead the forest Gitulen I'm with the river...Likot Larv you will command the retreat!"

And so the Kardah Daos Finitrue and his Likoten (Leutenants) went to their assigned places...As the only visible army was 20 men with Likot Larv,40 in the river with Daos Finitrue, and 40 men with Likot Polix hidden in the trees of the forest close by.

"Zom ur serit zewin!" Likot Larv said to the near 50 villagers that had been rallied against the Gitulen.Then enemies didn't know what the Geystral Likot had said,which was "Surrender or touch death",So they charged in to attack the visible Gitulen only to find them retreating...So the enemies rushed in as the Gitulen ran threw the pass where the river was to 1 side and the forest to the other.

Without much more waiting Daos Finitrue Raised out of the water shouting "KARDAH!".All the men raised out of the river with bows and shot down as many of the islanders as they could.As they charged towards the men in the river the men from the forest openned fire and took out even more.

Soon it was a mere force of 15 men that locked into battle with the Gitulen in the river andaccidentally the men from the tree's fired a second batch of arrows into the enemies hitting 2 of our own men.

After the battle had been won the enemies had killed 5 men,2 were killed by friendly fire,and 2 more in a few more skirmishes to the south.For a death tole of 9 to the Islander's many.

As the 150 men were going to the Sumatrian Island there was another army being mustered in Geystral...This was to head out to help the south Island expansion led by Daos Finitrue along with the 41 still there.

The northern-most Juriz Daos was permitted to expand north at his discression...Using the Jurizen as the expiditionary force instead of Gitulen of course.

i understand that things are crowded. however look at any map and you'll see that the states of today took a long time to reach their current size. i'm not just going to give territory, you are going to have to earn it. if you look back in history no nation went 100 years expanding into unclaimed territory without meeting some oposing nation.

The camel riders and footmen gathered together in the center of Mecca, around the half finished Kaaba. Harun explained to them that there was a nation to the South that stood clearly against their interests in the area. They would have to be terminated, and as quickly as possible.

i've got beyond a crapload of time today so if everyone gets orders in by say.... 10 hours from now, i'll do update. but i don't want any of you to feel rushed, if you want to take an extra day to get them in, its fine by me, after all i did promise 2 days inbetween updates. and i can't break my promise.... ;)

Finish up Celts by sending 50 men to attack from each side, when they turn against that attack send the main army (rest of forces) to attack in the middle and break their forces into 2 small forces that will be easy to kill....

The Spanish people of Spain continue to prosper though our economy is not good enough. I want everyone to be happy and always with food and water. With a better economy this will happen. I call my advisor in the room and instead of him my military general barges through the marble tent almost breaking it.

"What is the matter! You almost ruin my marble tent worth more than your whole alfit!!!! What happend?!?!"

"Sir, tribes surround us from every direction! WHat shall we do!!!"

"This is what you came here for? We shall do nothing but continue to expand with our fast explorers! By any chance, do you remember thier names?

"No sir, I just remember that the two above us are fighting each other an-"

"Ahhh yes! They are at war??? SO there is noo worries, let them tear themsleves apart and lets just watch, no problem. We will deal with them after ;)" I replied.

"OK sire, you will make our nation the best, I can see it now! Long live Espaniola!"

My advisor walks in the door as my general leaves. I ask, what is the best way to make our economy grow??? She answers with no pride that she does not know. I ask if she has ideas and she says yes, build farms. Where and how shall we build farms??? SHe told me that our land is not good enough or fertile though the land above us is.

"Send our warriors to claim that land and begin building farms!!" I ordered.

She left the room quickly to spread the news. Our nation is bound to be superior...

ORDERS:
-Increase economy by claiming the land to the north and building more farms to feed our people and make them strong to work everyday.
-Expand drastically with our 100 troops and scouts all around us.

In Britain the Celts have been decisively defeated. However, the citizens of the vanquished Celts refuse to submit to the leadership of Heine, as scattered troops still attack isolated British troops. In more positive news for the British people, the Great Commercial Trading Market is nearing completion, expected to be done in 100 years time.

Canada, flush with the contact they have with the Iroquois , decide to spread discontent within their society. The Iroquois are awed by the Canadians and portions of the northern tribes welcome the Canadian troops into their homes feeding them and giving them any assistance needed. Some of them even pledge allegiance to the Canadians. Also the Canadians commission the building of a library in Toronto, which will be 300 years in the making, after compilation of all known Canadian documents.

In Southeast Asia the Geystral navy ferries troops to the Sumatran island founding a base on the northern part of the island. This is in addition to completing conquest of the southern island. The people of Geystral are growing restless however, all the farms that are now producing crops have created a spike in the population of Geystral. While helping out recruiting efforts for the army and navy (+150 per army upgrade), it means the population is looking for other lands to expand to.

In Central America the army expands south to the Panamanian border. Not much else is done save offering the Mayans a spot in the Central American nation. They consider the idea but say they need time to decide.

On the Arabian peninsula the Arabs increase their army and invade the Saba nation only to find out that a tribe to the south of Saba, a people known as the south Sabaites, have been getting crushed by Saba for a hundred years. They offer their loyalty to the Arabs if they can protect them from the Sabanese Hordes.

On the Iberian peninsula there are more reports from the north of the Basques and the Catalans warring against one another. Both sides request that the Spanish join their side. Meanwhile the Spanish just farm their land and look for good settlement locations.

Deep in the Amazon jungle the resourceful people of the area use their natural knowledge to expand along costal areas and farther up the Amazon river. Expansion toward the interior away from the water is impossible, the explorers just get lost and wind up as a meal for the native animals.

In the Mediterranean Sicily expands further on the north African coast. Due to the strength of the island the eastern most people of Sardinia join the Sicilian people while the western most pledge their allegiance to the Carthaginian Kingdom. Also troops are landed on Malta and it is claimed for Antonio.
