PumaSNES1: For Real This Time

Ah ok (I just forgot)
my latter orders were to increase economy cuz' you weren't able to start the trade thing simoultaneously

but it's going quite well isn't it?
Think we should sack the cities for easy cash or keep 'em the way they are? =¯_^= ;)
*PM me*
Great update! (skuhz) my economy went up! yay
I might send out the royal decree to start the trade route with Espania this round.

the fun happen after the 1400's anyways, we get to conquer the americas then :P.

Hope on, Amirsan, hope on. :p I think us "Americans" - or rather Canadians - might have something else to say about that. May Britain be Canadian and Spain Hondurasian!

as you know, it's difficult to accuratly simulate 25 years of war with short orders and even shorter updates. why else would nes wars last for hundreds of years? think of it like seeing FDR's WW2 orders written in nes orders format and having him expect to have them all accuratly followed in an update, seemingly impossible. furthermore you give the orders and others carry them out, that is the burden of leadership. you don't get to control every aspect of the war which is why you must not only deal with unforseen actions in war but also your subcommanders are also able to do whatever they want once you issue orders. you can't really expect a whole war to be concluded in one turn, it would totally unbalance nesing, and it's an aspect that i'd like to find a way around. however seemingly the only way around it is to slow time down dramatically which would only serve to make the game far far too long. as it is it will take many years to get to further ages as amirsan suggests. i had planned on shortening turns to 20 years at the year 1000 but that might be too hasty depending on how long you guys want to stay in particular eras. also keep in mind that the eras are determined by education, it could be the year 2100 and you could still be in the industrial age, which looking at how you guys prioritize education, might be the case.... jk

no as i said last time the 5/5 or 6/6 is the FINAL TURN OF COMPLETION, do the math people if you get the benifits on that turn then it subtracts a turn from what you have to do to get the results, the math wouldn't work out b/c when you order a wonder it starts at 1/? so to make it fair and even the last turn is the 5/5 or 3/3, everybody got that?????

also you'll be able to tell if your wonder is done b/c it.... believe it or not, will be on the completed wonders post the one after the NPC's, it will no longer be in your nation stats, if it is, that means you are still working on it

and an increase of your army will yield you 1000 men.... usually, sometimes more

Um, no offense Puma, but my orders were rather long and gave my troops a lot of things to do during all that time if that was what you meant. And you still didn't answer about the naval war, its rather important...

hey all sorry about my crappy response time recently i've been incredibly busy over the past week, i'll come on tomorrow and answer all the accumulated questions and PM's, but i'll be leaving town on friday and i'll be back on monday, i'll do the update then so get the orders in

ok i intend to do the update today but i've only got 4 ord\ers

das- sorry about the delay in naval information i know you want and need it.

- The Canadian navy attempts to sneak into the Winnabago port of Chicago and capture ships from their navy. It is a mild success. The Canadians are able to sneak in past the sentries and aquire 10 ships before the alarm is raised and the remainder of the Winnabago ships are put to the torch in the harbor.

Das keep in mind that you need to tell me where you want your ships, in the atlantic, lake michigan or any of the other great lakes. i kind of need to know that b/c otherwise you are acting as though you already have canals built there. So just tell me each turn where they are operating, we'll consider that each turn you can figuire a way to carry ships one lake away, i.e michigan to superior. see what i mean? and i'll edit your naval numbers now

We can always drag ships overland (narrow peninsulas), though I'd expect them to be in Lake Michigan at first.

UPDATE ANYWAYS!

Why punish those responsible because unresponsible people cant get their orders in time with a 9 DAY STRETCH. There should be no reason someone should not do their orders. Please, update anyways, I cannot wait any longer. (Please do it in a couple hours... I am leaving for an 11 hour flight, I would really like to see the results before I leave tommorrow...)

Pleeeeeeaese./

EDIT: You can make this a fast update for yourself. ;)

Well sorry... I shall leave the nes now :-\ just doesn't interest me.

well amirsan, like i said i'll do it tonight regardless and try to infuse some interest back into this thing that has waned in my extended absences

Dear Jesus, I had completely forgotten that I was in this nes!

Uhmm.. well grow economy I guess..

Ahh forget it, I'm dropping out. Sorry, I know that drop-out players are a pain in the ass for the mod, but I had already forgotten what nation I was in this! :(

i'm not killing the nes, it will continue on so long as i have at least a few players, i have absolutly no desire to quit modding and i refuse to start a new nes, therefore the show will go on
