PythonErr2 crash

I do not quite understand why you think your crash is due to python. In your original post, the logfile you showed contains messages which occur when the game first loads. You mention your crash is on a much later turn. There is nothing suspicious to me, in any of the huge logfiles you have posted.

Does it happen on turn 81 of every game you play? Does it happen on more than one machine, for example if you run on a machine with more memory?

Are you sure it is not due to missing graphics, for example perhaps an AI player has just completed building a unit and there is a problem displaying that unit in the game. Have you run civcheck to look for missing graphics?

I am not sure, I just added Python so I can get help upgrading BUG, but we are putting the mod on ice. GEM mod has way to many bugs.

It could be a unit with missing graphics, sounds logical because it happens later in the game. I will check through the units later. Thanks
 
davidlallen, you were right sir, god damn forest preserve was not in place correctly. You see I changed the tech tree, and disabled scientific method for awhile, until I got to the point in my scheme where I re-added it. For some reason the xml for forest preserve was missing. For now, I am back in business and will resume playtesting. I have to go throught the entire tech tree and make sure there are no more unseen setbacks.

After playtest I will look into repairing my partners civics problems, if you don't mind I will put his things in a seperate mod folder, and find the problem later. For now I have to see that we have a workable mod up to this point. Thank you, and I should from now on think of the KISS principle, and check the basics first.
