Q on MMPs

I've done a search and found a BUNCH of info on em but the shear amount of info precludes me from finding the simple info I need.

The Q is: How do you activate a MMP? ex - I'm Greece and have an MMP w/Japan. Germany Declares War on Me... how do I call on Japan to honor the MMP? I've tried the diplomacy screen but I can't find an "honor your MMP" option. I've tried to do the "form an alliance against Germany" option w/Japan - but they won't do it unless I give em tons of stuff (not what i expect the MMP to be about)

Anyone please help

to activate a MPP the ennemy must attack you withing your boundaries

If you have a MPP with germany
Germany MPP with russian
Russian MPP with you


if germany attack you in your boundaries russian declare war on germany

but if you attack germany in is boundaries then russian declare war on you.

OH - so it's NOT activated when another nation Declares War on you, only when another nation Attacks (physically) you?? did not realize this.

So actually its better to let the enemy walk into your territory attack a city and then kill that unit and attack them.

it'S depend for which reason war is declared..

yeah, but IF they attack you within theire border it woN'T make russian declare war on germany.
