Question about factory resources

So I think I know the answer but due to the poor UI I can't confirm it. My understanding is that when slot multiple types of the same factory resources in the same town you get that times the times the bonus ( so 7 slotted coffee resources gets that bonus x 7).

Also I presume the bonus is civ wide and not just for that town?

It's not "multiple types", it's "multiple resources of the same type", but other that that, both statements are correct. All of them apply together and that's empire-wide bonuses.

Yeah sorry typo on my part I meant multiples of the same type. Thanks.

Follow up question about coffee factory resource, does it help boost projects as well as building construction?

Once you get a factory in a town, you'll be able to place a factory requiring resource on that town. You'll get all the bonuses from that resource in that town or empire wide if the bonus is empire wide.
