Hi there

i was reading the "A Guide to Space and Future" Post (https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/a-guide-to-space-and-the-future.620584/) ...

it is so much input and informations so i have short questions about the future part of C2C ...

if i understand it right there are several buildings and structures at the "space map" you need to do and build to be able to research all techs there are avaliable at the tech tree.

1) so what a bout if you play a map without space sectors ? only earth ? will i am be able to research all avaliable techs to have full access to all stuff - or is this missing than cause of left of space sector map part ?
2) what a bout the AI ? i read that the ai issnt able to use space sector map - so if you are in future and colonising the stars alone - issnt it imbalanced than and the player get overpowerd comparing to the ai only using the "earth" normal map ???

thanks for helping

1. Then you miss all space content, but still you can research all techs and build most of Earth buildings.
@pepper2000 are some Earth buildings locked out, if someone doesn't play on space map?
I know that scientific victory, space economy and space mission reward buildings are locked out.

2. AI doesn't even want to build NASA - National Wonder needed to start space program.

There are a few, like Eye in the Sky, Helium3 Fusion Power Plant, and some of the Human Mods, but I don't think there are any long chains of Earth buildings that will be broken.

thanks for answering

are there future plans to the AI that they are able to use spacemaps etc. too or will it never happend ?

Well first we have to teach AI, that it should build things like NASA and/or its requirements.

Now there is no way to check if AI can build space units and properly use them.

GPS is buildable only trough space units and several buildings need it.
