Question about Steam version

I'm downloading the game from Steam right now. Which game is the "equivalent" of playing Civ 3 Complete - that is, the most updated, complete game? I'm thinking it's Beyond The Sword, correct?

Colonization is a much lesser game than Civ 4: Beyond the Sword.

There is a Civ 4 Complete which has the base game + Warlords + Beyond the Sword expansion.

I haven't played it, but Colonization has a different gameplay than the original and Beyond the Sword with many features not present in either.

Colonization is a different game period. It only has the civ4 name for marketing purposes.

I found that out the hard way. I bought Colonization when it came out. It has little similarity to either Civ 3 or 4.
