Question About Unique Units

I find it annoying when the English Recoats are standing next blue cannon crew and cavalry. I'm thinking of figuring out how to edit the colours of those units to be red and then making them unique units for England that replace the blue versions, is that possible? I want to do the same for some other civs, like making the French more blue.
