Question on trade routes

I'm not sure if I have seen it, but I'm perfectly sure you can have trade routes with different cities of the same AI in one city.
Here's my question again: Can you have two cities that have a trade route with the same foreign city?

I know you can have a city which has multiple routes to the same AI, but I'm talking about specific AI cities. If no one has ever seen this than I assume that you cannot trade with a foreign city more than once. If that's the case it answers the OP's question.

I've never seen two of my cities with trade routes to the same foreign city, and logically the rules can't allow that. If they did then you'd probably find that most of your cities would have exactly the same set of trade routes, since the AI capitals are usually substantially better than their other cities.

Sorry, I always took it for granted that trade routes are bidirectional. If a trade route in city1 with city2 doesn't mean that city2 has a trade route with city1...forget what I said.

No im not isolated. I already said in my first post that i was connected to their cities. Please read what i typed.

Stop being so pissy, if you want people to help you, you might not want to be a dick.

Here is what you posted in the OP:

I have open borders with egypt, rome, and england and most of my cities are connected yet i dont have foriegn trade routes in all of my cities.

Most of my cities have only domestic trade routes. I dont know why they wont trade with my neighbors since it gives you more gold.

I dont have the mercantilism civic by the way. So i dont know why some of my cities have foriegn trade routes, and others dont. Can someone answer this for me?

Is there something i dont yet know?

Nope, nothing in there about whether or not you share your continent/island with other civs. Of course, you do mention that "most of my cities are connected", but you don't mention if they are just connected to your other cities by road, or if they are connected directly by road to cities owned by other civs.

Maybe you are the one who needs to review what you typed before responding in such a manner.
