Hello! I am a complete beginner in mapmaking, all i've ever done is create some meele maps in Warcraft III.

I would now like to create a map for Civ V G&K with the followiong criteria and would like to know if it is at all possible:

I have genereted a map wich i want to use. I am aware of how to import it to modbuddy and make it work once complete.

1: A fixed starting location for player 1, the slot wich i will be using. I added the maya to slot 1 and placed the capital in the desired location, but my starting location is random anyways. I would also like to change what civ i play as in advanced setup but have the same fixed starting location.

2. Optimally i could choose what the other AI civs are ingame in advanced setup. I would like them to spawn randomly, but i would like to set an area where no city-states or AI civs can spawn, but that they spawn randomly wherever else. Is this possible? Or do i have to add the AI civs i want and give them fixed starting locations one by one, same for citystates, in order for them not to spawn in a certain area (basically i want to create a continent for myself connected to the large contintent where the AIs spawn only by 1 hex near my capital)

3. Remove fog of war and give me complete visibility over the whole map turn 1 as if i had a scout on every tile.

The point of this is basically to create a cheat map for me where i have a huge area to expand to and all the natural wonders are near me, as well as building terrain that in practice would give me 5 city spots with resources, wonders etc on every workable tile around them (but i only want to start with my capital and then manually expand there as normal).

Are these things possible to do with the ingame-menus, withouth actual coding (which i cannot do)? I would also appreciate it if someone could refer me to a good guide for my purposes (again, if it possible to do).

A big thanks in advance.

Yes check WorldBuilder every option is there.

There is a visibility brush where you can paint visibility across the map.

You can create player start locations and random civilization/city-state starting locations.

Not sure if you can create random civs though.

If you do not set a start location for a civ, they will spawn randomly anywhere.

When playing your scenario, be sure to check "Play Scenario" option below the map
