Not sure about parking a unit on top. I want to say yes, but I'm not sure. I do know that parking a unit on any city tile while at war denies them that tile. Pillaging the road would make sure that they don't get to it.

The UN votes every 11 turns, period. Map size does not matter.

Thanks. Maybe it just seems longer than 11 turns in larger games.

PS: Congrats on that big win over Denver. I'm really upset with my cable provider for not showing the game even though I have NFLNT.

Can I have two MGLs at the same time?
No. I believe. You can generate two in the same turn, but only if you use the first one before the second one is generated.

EDIT - Cross post with SuperBeaverInc, but I guess you'll read his post first cos it's on the next page.

No. You can only have one. You have to either build an army or rush something in order to get another MGL.

Just a few quick questions.

To deny one of my enemies a resource\luxury, do I have to physically pillage it or the road(s) leading to it, or is just parking a unit on top of it good enough?

Parking on any tile denies the use of that tile. Well it does if you are at war, otherwise it does not.

They can't work the tile for sure, but can't they still get access to the luxury (etc) until the road is pillaged? Of course, I might be incorrect there...

When attacking a city with a pop of 1, whats the deciding factor between the city being automatically destroyed or being given the option to occupy?

It needs to have expanded it's cultural borders. (Exception: the town was once yours and the occupants are your nationality in which case you still recapture it IIRC.)

Thanks. That was extremely helpful.

I know when I had just civ 3, no expansions, there was an eye in the upper right corner of the city page so you could actually see what your city looks like. I loved that feature, but now that I've installed complete, the eye isn't there. Is there a problem, or is that just how the game is?

It's just how the game is. It happens with Conquests as well as Complete. Annoying eh?

It must be just some vesions then as I have it with my version of conquests.

It still exist in the epic game, but it is removed in the conquests

Unless I am not understanding what you mean, I do have it in C3C. Screenshots attached with conquests builds in city to verify that it is conquests.

What does happen is that the wonders new to C3C are not shown when you click on the eye.

Epic game is no mods, standard rules. I think you can create your own map, so long as you don't change the rules.
