And does building a city over a tech, make the tech last longer?

Yup, must admit, on Sid Level you DO have to think about defensive values of units........'cos you KNOW the AI is gonna attack......REEEEEAL Soon!AutomatedTeller said:If I were playing on Sid, I would basically turtle up and hope I didn't die too fast![]()

The Civilopedia lists The Palace as a City Improvement....BUT, for practical purposes it acts like a Small Wonder with a few quirks:ac196nataku said:So you are saying the Palace is a small wonder?
You might want to consider using a Civilization other than the Iranians....Err, I mean Persians! Try the Russians, for example.Dark Alley Dan said:...What I'm having a hard time with is the apparent total absence of urnaium!...

My understanding is that there is at least one supply of every resource pre-set (viz. Before the game starts) on EVERY Map. If you think about it, it would be rather unfair if you couldn't win by Spaceship because you couldn't build one!
However, I defer to Padma.......whose Post I have just read. (I never question the Oracles of Omaha!)
Is it possible that Uranium is located in an area of the Map (viz. Small Island) that has not yet been discovered? (Just because it's a Pangaea doesn't mean you don't have islands!!)
If you have already researched Satellites, then you can see the entire Map and my point is moot.
Also, Uranium could be found in one of the AI's City Squares. Have you performed a Ctrl-Shift-M on the Map Screen to easily view all resources?![]()
