Like Aggie said, it stays there. ie; if your trade for coal runs out, your railroads still work, and the workers who started building them when there was coal will finish them..

Also, you could even start on IW in case those sources of coal/iron within the desired IW city's radius are not connected to the trade network... The IW city must have iron(/coal in the resource box to start, of course.

I have a slight problem. It appears that i hit some keystroke which sent the unit action buttons from the bottom center of my screen over to the right hand right. I would really like to get them back to the middle as it's just what im used to.. so what do i press?
Thanks!

You pressed the backspace key. Hit it again to move them back to where they belong.

You can also hit the delete key, and that will take everything away. Nice for some screenshots.

No, because the citizen is still "alive". If you build it and then disband it, then you might, because it is as if you starved it away.

This is just my hypothesis though.

You get an attitude hit if you disband a city and you have more than 50% foreign population. So if that worker was foriegn, then yes you would.

That's one of the reasons Diplomatic victory [can be] so easy. (It doesn't have to be - if you don't gift AIs 1000 gold and 100 gpt the turn before you build the UN. ;) )

it's not very affective.
You should have enough gold stockpiled up cause your military ain't as big (unnless you scare them into peace) and you shouldn't have wasted it on anything, but with eneimes (if any) it's not very effective

Quick question - I'm in Republic gov't, I have a few ICBMs, and my opponents are still mid-industrial. There are a few of their Stacks O' Death (opposing my invasions) which I'm considering nuking.

Does using a nuke affect my war weariness, and how badly does using a nuke affect AI attitude toward me? The first question is more important, as at this point I could take all the other civs on simultaneously, but I'm having too much fun letting #2 fight it out with #3 and #4 while I wipe up #'s 5, 6, 7, and 8.

If you are the 1st to use a nuke, any civ that is not at war with the civ you nuked is likely to declare war on you. Not sure about WW but i don't think it's too bad if you are the nuker vs the nukee.
