Eman and punkbass 2000: Thank you both for your prompt and succint explanations

What are these numbers? I wonder what the number of all of the square miles are, that number should be some thousands...?? If I know this number it would be possible to calculate how many % of the map that I own, without using the domination wonder help.punkbass2000 said:IIRC, 60, 80, 100, 130, 160, all squared, respectively.
punkbass2000 said:Tiny is 60 tiles by 60 tiles. I believe every tile is 100 square miles. The numbers of mine you quoted are all tiles for each world size.
A 60x60 map actually only has 60x60/2 tiles. The coordinate system is interesting in that the x increments by 2 when moving horizontally with a constant y. Take a look at the coordinates of the tiles around 59,59 in the following:Turner_727 said:Right.
GA, if you look in lower left corner on the status bar in the editor, you see the coordinates, and it matches up 59,59 (with 0 being the first) for the tiny maps.
