Although that never happens... the smallest possible majority is 16:15, which translates to about 53:47. ;) Just being picky!! :D

So theres no way to group units? I was under the impression their was, I remember a generally worthless moving all units on the same tile command like that in alpha centuri.

There are two buttons above the info screen on the lower right hand of the screen... the one on the right is to move all units of the same type... the one on the left is to move all units (with movement left) in stack.

Oh, thanks. I was trying a tiny diplo, which is empty in HoF above Monarch. So I have to pet 2 civs instead of one.:(

Please forgive this hopelessly ignorant question. I have never downloaded anything to do with Civ, I simply don't know the way to do it.

I'm a TeTurkhan scenario player. I don't play the other ones.

I own Civ3Gold and Conquests.

I see that the TeTurkhan variant has been upgraded, and I have downloaded the correct (I think) updates 1.66 and 1.93 from the appropriate place.

I have Windows XP. The two downloads had been put in the "my downloads" folder when they arrived. Obviously, this is not the end of the upgrade proceedure.

PLEASE TELL ME: How do I use these downloads once they are in "my downloads" folder? There must be a next step, in order to get them to actually upgrade the TeTurkhan game I already play. How do you do that? I really don't know. What folder do I re-direct them to, and will they automatically erase the TeTurkhan scenarios that are already on my original disks?

Then, when I go to actually play the game in its upgraded version, do I use the Civ3 disk, or the Conquests disk to actually play?

Thank you.

if the city or civ that made the manhattan project was destroyed, perhaps would this take away nuke weapons capability?, i can make jets (aluminum), nuke subs and plants(uranium)but i cant make nuke weapons anymore.

@ opus95: Ask about the mod in its' own thread in the Creation & Customization / Completed Modpacks forum

@ curt: You mentioned being able to build them 100 turns ago... are you playing past 2050? If so, there are all kinds of wierd problems that pop up in the game when doing so and nothing can be done about them.

im on emperor, ive got the game won, but i want to wipe out the ai, ive got the military, but it would make it a lot easier if i could nuke them first,,,(my first time winning on emperor)

If the manhatten project was destroyed it can't be rebuilt, and no one will be able to build nukes anymore in that game.

Wow, I never knew that! :crazyeye: In all my years of playing civ3, I've never once destroyed the city with The Manhattan Project. Most of the time because I'm the one to build it. ;) But even on the odd occasion when the AI manages to get it before me, I never usually raze cities - so if I capture the city it was built in, it just becomes mine. Thanks for that, Theoden - I learnt something knew today! :goodjob:

@namliaM - On the surface that would appear a good idea... but think about it for a moment, and it isn't so attractive a prospect. To actually be able to build TMP in a city, it'll have to have fully upgraded tiles and lots of production improvements, plus low corruption... in other words, one of your CORE CITIES!!! And who wants to disband THEM, even to rid the world of nukes?!?! :nuke: :D (Actually, thinking again, I suppose there COULD be sensible way to do it... if you have a spare Leader/Scientific Leader lying around to rush TMP in a worthless city. ;) )

Is the fortify or sentry commands effective with Naval units? I.E do they confer the defense bonus? The health bar does not get the normal outline land units get when fortified or sentried. I sometimes will 'waste' a move point to put my nav units on sentry at the end of the turn when in hostile waters - is this effective or should I just go ahead and move them to their fullest and not worry about fortifiying them? TIA! :) (Edit: C3C 1.22)

Yeah i know :mischief:

I never knew that destroying the project would elimnate nukes forever  Oh well i never really destroy cities like that anyway

When fortified, ships do not get any defensive bonus, but they get a three square vision radius if they were fortified at the start of the current turn. So it can be valuable to fortify ships in certain cases.

Yeah- I noticed that. Kinda makes Radar superfluous when it is available - almopst not worth the upgrade to Aegis for cruisers. Thanks! :)
