What are the Shield costs for the 10 Space Ship parts??

EDIT::: Flips are possible with the rival just having a settler. It's happened to me.
 
That would be nasty to see a city flip just because of a settle. Thanks for that so there was no need to worry afterall. Time to Raze some cities i think.
 
The civilopedia lists all the SS parts and selecting them individually will you the shields cost. Generally it's either 160, 320 or 640.
 
Oh, I didn't think about that. Too bad my employer doesn't allow me to run Civ at work.... :(

Even if you get the popup that they're gone, city could flip.
City never culture-flips in case
-there's no cultural overlap (all 21 possible working tiles are either yours or neutral)
-all residents nationalities are not represented by a still-alive civ

If it still flips, someone undertook a propaganda attempt.
 
In conquests ver 1.22 how do you find the SEED number of your map? I would like to replay a map, but when I chose it originally I used the SEED number 0.

Do you still have any .sav from the map? If so, there's several options.
First, there's a utility called Seedbeast, but it doesn't work for everyone.
Second, if you load the .sav into Civ, you may be able to use Replay Last World when generating a new game after that.
Third, if you load the .sav into Civ, then the worldseed would be in the conquests.ini file. If you use Windows to explore the Conquests folder, it would show up as a notepad document titled simply Conquests. Open it and it scroll about two/thirds of the way down.
 
TR: Regarding SS parts, the Engine and Exterior Casing are the two 640-shield parts. Engine comes with Space Flight, Exterior Casing with Synth Fibres.

The rest are easily done with ICBM pre-builds.
 
I think that "Play Last World" uses the info from the .ini file, and that info relates to the last world generated, not the last world loaded. So that means SeedBeast is the way to go.
 
does anyone know how i can build unlimited cities and also have unlimited armies?? coz' when i build a new city it came up "To many cities"...what to do? is there any unlimited mod i can download??

You can't. The game has a limit of 512 total cities per map, and it's hardcoded. That naturally hardcaps armies as well.
 
First off a hello to you all as i am new to this forum..
and an appology for asking but i have browsed around for a few days and decided i needed to register to finaly ask for what i couldnt find.

Although i have played the game for a while i decided i was bored with the way the terrain looks and was wondering what program i could use to edit/repaint them to look more the way i want them to look in my game?

Could i use a paint program like Adobe/PSP ? and what format would i need to save them in? how would i go about editing them? or do i need a special editor ? if so is there one available here? Or do you have a step by step tutorial somewhere that i missed?

oh one last thing i have Civ complete ..

Formalities out of the way... did you Civ ships with a couple of alternate terrain sets? Plus there are plenty to download and install from here, check out the Downloads section.
 
The only thing i have done to the game myself is play with the editor a bit and i have used a trainer once but other than that i usualy play the game pretty normal..

yeah i have looked at the download section and have seen some interesting terrain peices but was more interested in moding my own :)
