Quick Questions / Quick Answers

Am I misunderstanding the Bran celtic pantheon? The description says its +4 per 5 followers, but it seems to be +1 per 4 followers.

Are embassies continue provide +1 delegate when city-state captured by large civ? In other words is there any sense to build embassy if you plan to conquer city-state or fear that it fall to another civ?
You lose the vote if the CS loses the tile your embassy is on, this includes not only conquering the CS but also stealing the embassy tile with a citadel.

On that note I also have a question, what happens when a CS with embassy conquers another CS who also has an embassy? I assume the conquered one gets overridden by the original?

I think you always have the vote as long as the embassy still belongs to a city state.

Citadel is just a defensive structure that also provide a bit of science and grabs some land around.
Ordo (no science but you get the land grab) is a mobile heaven, every unit who lands here get ALL its move back to full AND you can do this several times.
This mean you can stand far away, move to the ordo with a skirmisher, attack opponent, move back to the ordo and far back again.
As Mongols have free logistics on skirmishers this quickly becomes very silly if the terrain allows it.
It is however a mechanic too advanced for the AI.
Great answer with an added example. Thanks!

is there a list of all the loading screen tips in the mod files or on another website? feels like every time i load a save i learn about a cool mechanic and immediately forget it once the game starts.

Is there a quick way to change starting bias of a civ (standard and DLC ones, not custom modmod civs) in VP?

Does the XP and GG limit in barbs apply to CSs as well?
i.e. past a certain point I don't get XP when fighting CS units, and get no GG points from combat with them

There is an XP limit for fighting against CSs, but it's higher than the one for barbs. Not sure about GG points.

It's just another type of barbarian horde, that appears based on a bunch of factors (see CvMinorCivAI::SpawnRebels())

Anyone know what may be causing this visual bug of the map not loading???? I don't think it's mod related; I have to verify game files before runnign the game or this happens (and sometimes it happens anyway):

Thanks.

1. Are strategic monopolies (25% from iron, horses etc.) enough for founding corporations tied with those resources?
2. Does Russia ability make all strategic resources number go up globally when she doubles it when improving the tile and hence making monopolies on them harder?
3. Is doubling luxes from east india company making their global number go up?
4. Luxes from expending great admirals are not working towards monopolies corporations/right?
5. If I need to kill every CS around me and I'm at war with most others (global war against runaway Germany who has nearly all) are there any way of resetting We Love the king day, other than great merchants (which needs CS), chruch, or circuses/zoo? I have evertyhing tied to them (theocratic rule, fealty production, growth and science from industry, I should have gone revelation not theocratic it's so, so much stronger than any other founder). I feel I might cornered myself.
6. How long after wlltkd resource resets?

If you now the answer for any of those please let me know

1. Not 100% sure, but I think you need 50% regardless. So no, 25% should not be enough.
2. Monopoly is based on total availability on the map. You can exceed 100%, for example. Anything that increase % or add raw number have no effect on needs for monopoly. Anything that create resources on the map does effect monopoly needs.
3. Same logic as 2, so no. The same logic apply to the Autocracy tenet which gives +100% strategic resources (no effect on monopoly need).
4. Same logic as 2 (no effect), and furthermore, they should only provide luxuries that are not present on the map. So they should never help with monopolies anyway (a monopoly only exists if there is at minima one sample on the map).
5. I don't know what version you use, but WLTKD should be based on random luxury, including ones you already possess. Anyway, I'm not aware of any more ways to reset WLTKD (4UC Spain can proc them with their zoo, and building Public works).
You can also choose a CS that is far away from Germany and spam emissary to ally it. Since Germany would be far away, it would be harder for them to increase influence. You can then try to press a sphere of influence on it. That way you have your very own WLTKD reset. Alternatively, if you can, you could try to get one example of every luxury via trade or conquest.

6. I didn't know they could reset. Maybe see if there is a timer displayed when you hover over it ? The VP devs tend to make information available whenever possible.
