Can I disable tile steal with citadels in some way? Sometimes the AI just spams them on me and I have no defense if i'm not warmongering, as the only counter is my own GGs
Well sort of, the option to disable it is called to the flory of god reformation belief. But serious answer is chain citadel them yourself first (GG bonus is not really substantial, protecting horses and especially coal, aluinium, and uranium, or monopoly granting lux tiles is). and it's gimmicky but I am nearly sure that even if it isn't the rule I was sometimes blocked from citadeling by fort configuration on enemy side (grayed out option despite not being next to another citadel). I started to actually make many forts on the frontier from when I first saw it and it's actually working.

Is there any way to adjust the spawn distance at the start of the game, I'm finding most of my games recently the map feels really spread out with my closest civ often being 10+ tiles away, maybe something to do with communitu? I don't remember having this issue previously. Playing on standard map size
 
Is there a way in EUI to check already discovered Natural Wonders + how many remains undiscovered? Similar to vanilla game

If you hover over hapiness breakdown on top panel it will say how much happiness from natural wonders + how many remain undiscovered from your perspective probably

Yes, Communitu generates much more land than other map types.
 
Not land on mainland though. The extra land is all offshore islands. (At least it usually is; it's all random.)
 
When razing cities is it intended for partisans to spawns with your tech level / resources access ex: Longswordman when the opponent hasn't researched Steel or War Elephant with no Ivory exploited/traded/CS-alliance ?
 
hello! getting back into VP... were the maya nerfed so their first possible GP after mathematics is turn 52, not 42?
 
Is something like this really necessary? The puppet would lose nothing by occupying the sheep pasture... StupidPuppet.png
 
Modding question: I've been looking to write something that would cause cities to be instantly razed upon conquest, and the most straightforward way to do this seems to be to use the Kill method on a city during CityCaptureComplete. However, I've looked at CvPlayer.cpp, but it looks like there's still code that references the city after CityCaptureComplete triggers, which makes me worry that it might cause issues. Is this still my best option, or would there be better ways to do this?

Is there any way to change the experience curve required for unit promotions in Vox Populi? Would like it to be less steep for the later promotions. Ideally - applicable to all units except the scounts (appreciate I might be asking too much with that last one :king:)
 
Hello here. I am playing after quite a while. Going smooth, like the changes since last i played. Playing 2nd game with Venice- so i have to go out with this one. Why puppets can build buildings demanding a resource?

also will throw in my thought, that puppets could get control over workable tiles anected by other city for which they are unworkable.
 
Is it possible/feasible/desirable to conquer only holy cities and wipe out all the other religions and keep only mine, to get a huge amount of religious authority votes?
