Does adding additional RAMs decrease lag and loading time? Since the lag and loading time speed varies on your computer's memory(RAM).

If so than I would go search for some RAMs, but I need help =P

So what you mean is if I have enough RAM, switching units and scrolling around the map will be less a problem?

I have 1054 MB of RAM but since the GPU takes up RAM

I currently have 854 MB of RAM left

Generally integrated GPUs don't work well with games, and they will likely lag badly. RAM, you are fine 1Gb is plenty unless you had vista and thats another story, but if you want to decrease load times don't look for how much RAM you have but how fast it is at loading data on and off. Look at the MHz speed and try to get the highest speed your system is capable of installing.

But if I were you I'd get a new graphics card first, this is where you'll see the most improvement.

My experience has shown me that the addition of 2g RAM for a total of 3g RAM did make a different on initial load time, however, it did not improve scrolling lag on huge maps with max settings. I had to drop to medium settings to get it to run smoothly, so I'd say it's my video card that can't keep up there. nVidia 6800 GTO is the card I have.
