Thanks to Lohrenswald posting on my wall, I've now noticed that all our old VM conversations are totally borked. :(

Yeah, they're kinda weird now.

Bosses should never be allowed to make decisions. The higher the level of the boss, the more they lose their ability to do so. Maybe it's oxygen deprivation, or something like that.

Perhaps you would enjoy Norway's flat structure as far as bosses in the workplace goes. Bosses don't really make all that many decisions, they act more as a team leader I guess.

Day 8 of switching from factory bread to making my own: Anyone who can make bread is a witch. Burn them.

Buy a bread-maker. The smell is lovely. :)

The Peter Principle in action, perhaps?

Norway sounds like my ideal place to live, aside from the confusing difference between written and spoken Norwegian. And the apparent difficulty of expats making friends there, but no place is perfect.

Start with bread mix or, as Arakhor said, a bread maker. The smell and taste of fresh bread is one of the good things in life.

The forum doesn't seem to have spoiler boxes any more. :gripe:

It does, it just doesn't have the button for them in the post editor anymore.

Spoiler :
See?

Bah!:old:

Doing it for financial reasons, so unfortunately buying gizmos and mixes are out of the question. :)

Come think of it, I dont think I ever had any bread while in Australia.

I wrecked my car. Totaled. Kaput.

On the bright side, I was not at fault so the other person's insurance company is probably on the hook for getting me a replacement, but what a pain in the ... neck.

On the brighter side, everyone seems to have walked away (the older guy passenger in the other car actually left in an ambulance, but that seemed mostly due to a preexisting heart condition that made it seem best to get him checked out).

But suddenly not having a car really sucks.

Uh...hope you can get this sorted out easily :).

Own rant: As usual, this weekend proves that I'm stupid.
Had a good conversation with a girl on Friday evening, but she had to leave the party early. I asked if she'd also come on Saturday to the party, and she said yes, and therefore didn't ask for her number (yet). And for sure, she didn'nt come. Stupid me. As usual :wallbash:.

I have a midterm in 2 days for a subject I haven't really studied at all haha I'm an idiot

Went on a day trip with a friend to see some museums because we're off work because it's a holiday. Places we went were closed because it was a holiday.

Nothing but bad luck in the past three weeks, knocking on wood that my luck will change around.
