OK, check your email inbox. It's 3.9 MB monster… (sidenotes attached)

Probably. Both BM and I are very busy IRL, which is why this project has slowed down.

If I can help in any way, let me know. Animations of the horses will probably be toughest if I had to take a guess.
The offer is well appreciated. Even with things like utahjazz7's run cycle available coordinating 2 running horses with wheels, pennant, & whatever the two warriors are doing will be a trick. It will help a lot to have the support of someone with experience at complex animation.

How is it coming along? Animation of the horses would be tough. I am not really knowledgable enough to animate horses on my own. Freeform animation is quite difficult, as Dejah has been taking a long time due to a few problems I have encountered in her animation. But using the partially animated horses from AO (as I am doing with the Stagecoach) could work as an quick and easy alternative. If I added them though, they would be stuck in a .MAX file; unless I am able to export the file as a NIF/KF (correctly) which Blender can use also. I have had problems getting NIF/KF exports to work though, probably something I am doing wrong.

First poast of the year. Every axle and/or wheel is now a separate object. :salute:

It's the second file out of three emails I sent you ;). See explanation in them there electronic mails.

You have two items each consisting of one axle and two wheels, plus the chariot, three items. Actually, I have already sent you that file once… Well, nevermind. Now you have both :)

This is as much of a response as you're gonna get:
This project is "back-burnered" while I work on the steampunk scenarios. The Indian scenario is the whole reason I started modding, so I will get back to it.
BM has dropped out of the Monthly Announcements gig, he's either working too much or having some personal issue. I wouldn't like to speculate further in public…

Is there any progress on this? It sure would be nice to get the ratha into my mod ;).
Almost all of my creative time has been involved in the steampunk project & researching 19th c. Indian units for Sandris until recently. ATM moderator duties have had the upper hand. I need to UV map it. Then it will available for someone else to animate. If there is demand for it & an interested animator I can do the mapping sooner rather than later.

Getting a substitute for one month is not the same as dropping out. ;) And a pm is better than idle speculation. ;)

There is interest in it. If it helps, I've done the John Devil leaderhead for the Steampunk mod today instead of spending time on my own mod; hopefully in return, the ratha could be UV mapped and off to someone to animate ;).

To be honest I've never unwrapped & mapped a model this complex before. Now that the wheel/axle assemblies are separate objects the unwrapping will be a lot simpler. I can probably do some work on it over the next couple of weeks if pressing moderator duties move to a slower pace & nothing crops up in RL. There will probably be some back & forth discussion & revising until the map both looks right & is workable for the animator, whoever that might be.

Any help to get the unit out sooner rather than later would be very much appreciated :D.
I just found out I was indentured to you without getting a head's up. :p I'll do my best - I want the unit as badly as you do.
