Razing road after CS quest not a good idea now?

My sample size is too small to know if this is true or not. I've done the CS "build a road" quest 3 times now post-patch. As always, I immediately deconstruct the road after the quest to save costs. All three times, I never see another quest request from that CS, ever...

So is this a stealth-change in the new patch? If so, I fully approve (it's a silly quest when you always just deconstruct the road anyway). However, it's possible that this is all a figment of my imagination and small sample size. Can others confirm or disprove this?

Roads to CSs ought to give some sort of benefit, regardless of whether or not they ask for it. Maybe some sort of foreign trade route bonus. They only time I ever build them is when I leave my workers on auto-improve, it just doesn't seem worth it.

Not sure about post patch as I haven't tried it yet, but pre-June patch, it established a trade route and you received trade income from the road.

Now, it would get into a trade off between the cost of the road versus the value of the trade income as to whether you broke even on keeping it.
