Re-install Civ V if you want the game to work!

Hello All

I played Civ 5 perfectlly, until today where i had the same problem as many others, where it chrased after you choosed which directX you would play with and could not join the game.

Before that i have tried several things where non of them worked "re-install directx 9", update graphic card and so on.

BUT

After i completely re-installed Civ V where i had to dl and install it again, I have then no problems and can play the game again.

So if your game chrases right after you choose which directX then maybe re-install the game. IT WORKED FOR ME

i could not join the game. when the steam box came up with what directx i want to play with it crashed and did join the game...

I've heard another report in the german forum about this, and i'm completely curious why the hell this works.

How do you uninstall and delete the so it can be downloaded again. Cannot find any uninstall option anywhere not even in steam help...
