Re-Upload Requests

What have you changed the file name to? When choosing a file name, be sure to add ".rar" at the end to signify the file type. Try not to include the period character ( . ) in the name before the file type, as this could confuse some programs. Also, make sure you have selected the drop-down menu "Save as type:" and choose "All Files" so it will actually be saved as a .rar. If your computer cannot open .rar files, download 7zip here https://www.7-zip.org/. It's a free file compression program that is a bit more powerful than the default Windows program.

EDIT: Changed zip to rar; my mistake, I use 7zip and it's less finicky about file types than default Windows software.

no I don't. its just odd it shows up as a zip file but when i go to open it or extract it says its not a valid zip file

The problem is that I can see on the archived download page that the original file was a RAR file. So @jarred! in this case you need to change your instructions to tell people to save as a rar file not a zip. A decent number of Civ3 & 4 mods are in rar format so keep an eye out for that when copying and pasting your instructions template. @Levchuck presumably you're not using 7zip which probably wouldn't have cared (hence why Jarred didn't notice and was still able to open it) whereas Windows default zip handling app and Winzip vary much care about wrong types lol. So rename your downloaded file from zip to rar and if you can't open a rar file then go get 7zip (it's free with no catches).

EDIT: Jarred over in my quoted copy of your instructions in the original mod thread I've changed the 2 mentions of zip to rar and I've added a little extra line saying "If you cannot open a .rar file go get 7zip (https://www.7-zip.org/)."
Can't do much about your picture though.

I think I might have the latest/ last version of SuperCiv -- a graphical update which Balthasar (RIP) sent me not long before he passed. But I'm actually on vacation right now, and before I'd be able to upload anything anywhere, I'll need to spend some time persuading my PC to start talking to our new router...
wow.. yes Balthasar's last works should definitely be preserved. Let me know if you need help with hosting.
