It's impossible to find free file host for so large file... :sad: Better try to convince CF admins to host your mod files ;)
 
allin1joe is actually going to give me some space on his server. i cant post much now. i apologize but i have pressing matters to attend to. i will say more later.
 
allinjoe has given me some web space and i will upload the mod ASAP. it may have to wait until fri though because i have school and then two baby siblings to come home to. i get about an hour of free time per night. it blows! im tryin though! this is a great mod and i have already patched it!

dont know whats going on with the screenshots but thats ok for now. the organized offensives thing is a glitch on my part. i messed up when typing in the install location on the patch. i have uploaded a correct version.
 
I got an error with: \Art\Animations\Disorder\CivilDisorder.flc (File was missing) but i made a copy from the original game, and i paste it in the folder and its ok now. Just take a look to make sure i'm not the problem cause some people could get this error after many hour of gameplay.

BTW you're mod is great but what difficulty we should set it to make it realism... For exemple, i'm playing emperor level and Russia already have 8 city and it is 2250 b.c. At this speed, i can be sure the game will be done by with a nuclear war before we can reach years 1000 a.d

Thanks for this mods BTW, i was playing Rhye's of Civilization x.xx for like 10 month and this change with the same map... is't just perfect.

screenshots should work now and i uploaded a fix.

as far as i know, the Pick-Your-Civ screen should say (Recommended) over the Sid difficulty level. If not, play on Sid. It has been tweaked.

ps- dont worry about ur english. and i love ur sig.
 
Thanks cause i was confuse about the difficulty level. I can't see the "recommended" like you say but i try it and it's not bad at all (better than emperor level). Still fast for the gameplay but i have to keep in mind, this is not Rhye's mod so i will have to do with it. In Rhye's mod, Machingun become available around 1600-1700, in your mod, it's Before Christ :lol: but still fun.
 
glad you enjoy the mod. haha i wasnt really thinking about getting dates right when i created this mod. haha too much work and i cant even think of a way to do it.

You can always ask Rhye for an optimized version of your mod and make it like him... real-time gameplay. The best trick i can give to you is the shield cost of everything. Increase it untill the timeline is same as today. In my opinion, building a cruise missile in one turn for each city make the game unfair for the pc. Cause cruise missile in your mod have long range attack ;).
 
How come the ships with bombards have blitz on? Do you intend for each ship to be able to bombard like 5x or more depending on their movement rates?

maybe i will consider doin that for 2.0 (or later...)

yes and no. i have never in my life heard of a ship that could only attack once in every 10 yrs (or whatever each turn is). i thought it was kind of ridiculous. why do you ask? I WANT PEOPLE'S OPINIONS ON MY MOD SO FIRE AWAY (pun not intended haha :lol: )
 
It just seems that now the artillery units are underpowered compare to the ships. I rather build ships that can bombard up to 10x depending on its movement than artilleries that can bombard 2x.
 
I downloaded the mod and installed it, but there doesn't seem to be a biq file. Also, on the main file, I wan't able to choose the directory I wanted to install my files to-I use c:\games, not c:\program files. It's not a major deal-I just copied the files to where I needed them, but you might want to take a look at it.

I believe you can't choose which directory because it is written into the executable file. They are self installing. I am downloading now. We'll see whats up, sounds pretty good. This mod take as long as RAR and others?
 
Nevermind. I figured it out. Apparently the biqs are installed second, and when the box had popped up initially, I thought I had re-launched the file accidentally and exited out of it.

This is something you might want to put in a readme file.
