1.Liberals. Because back when Jean Chrétien was Prime Minister, i said i'd start voting liberal when he steps down and Paul Martin takes over. Was voting conservative until then.
2.Conservatives : i can't vote for a party with those kinds of values. Not when i have an alternative.
3.NDP : they're left, i'm right. Enough said.
4.Bloc : i may live in Quebec, but i'm a federalist. If Quebec separates, i'll move to Canada.
I added in the numbers to the post.
Ok So i agree with you on Bloc and NDP, although not being from Quebec, without all the seperatist ideas I do like the way the bloc works. That being said it is alot easier to please people in a province then to try and pelse all people accros a country.
So that leaves #1,#2
In two you said you have different values, what exactly are those, I have heard the word "values" too many times this election without any one actually telling me what they are.
It isn't fair that you don't get my opinion as well. The conservatives are scary yes, maybe because of thier 'values' which no one will tell me what they are, but what I believe Canada needs right now is change, it doesn't matter to what but a change.
That being said the only change is to Conservative because NDP will not win, Green will not and as you have stated about the bloc.
Now could the Conversatives get out of control, honestly yes, but in thier first term no, too many eyes will be on them. Now that being said I sound very pro Conservative (I was brought up that way) when I am indeed not, I do vote for the praticular Candidate in my riding, which ever party they may represent, but the odd time as in this vote I need to voice my opinion and say
stealing is wrong. (the liberal MP in my electoral district is quoted as having said it is only X amount of money and we paid it back)
For me this is not right, even though alot of my socialist views line up liberal I can not vote that way this election.
So my final stance is fiscally I am conservative (which is Ironique because now they are looking at running a deficit if they win

) but socially I am liberal and believe in helping my fellow Canadian.
That being said, all politicians lie cheat and steal. *
*corrected most not all
But the longer someone is in power the easier this becomes (in this case the liberals), And not nessecarily that they mean to but the mroe familair you become with something the better you get, the more corners you may cut.
I.E. your playing civ for the very first time ever, your first game you take your time you read up on things you play a little more defensive. However the longer you play civ the more risks you are willing to take.
As again my post was

I offer my on topic post:
This would be interesting to incorporate into a game of civ, National voting, in that depending on your government type you recieved periodic bonuses/penalties
I.E. Democracy: Bonus you populace is excited about a new election + 100gp
Penalty: Your populace is torn over who to vote for, +1 unhappy face per city for 3 turns
There are many things you could do here
