Those crazy scientists...
I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a good first-person-shooter for the PlayStation 2 console (it's the only console I have currently (or plan to have in the near future), so xbox or gamecube, or newer gen console games are no help to me).
I've tried the Medal of Honor games, and enjoyed the single player campaigns, but found the splitscreen multi-player lacking. Same goes for Goldeneye: Rogue Agent. Although the latter is currently my favorite FPS on PS2, I find it wanting in several key areas.
For reference, my number one favorite fps game that I've played on a console is Perfect Dark on the N64, and to a slightly lesser extent, the original Goldeneye (it was king in its time, and had superior single player campaigns, but Perfect Dark surpassed it in multi, IMO) Is there any game out there with comparable features to those older games? In particular, I miss the bots in multi, and the ability to play the campaign and/or challenge missions in splitscreen multiplayer.
Any recommendations?
