I know someone who did that to himself when he used an efax service, and requested a copy of the fax to his email. About 400+ I think.

But, still, this hacking talk should stop, especially with it being out in the open. It goes against the forum rules as well.

As one who got too good a look at those photos, I do think that police action is warranted if there is no other way to shut this guy down. On the other hand, I have heard that things were implemented to stop him, so hopefully that will work.

As for the poster inflammation issue, I think of bans as our "correctional procedure" here. Some people, I'd like to think I'm among them, get corrected by banning, learn from their mistakes, and become functioning contributors. Other people, already criminally insane when they get banned, become howling mad afterwards.

Just contact the owner or ISP of the proxy server that he uses ,to monitor all activety going to CFC trough their proxy.They should find the real Ip adress of this guy ,and you should be able to take legal action against him ,or seriously annoye him.And i'm not talking about ping flood's or other basic brute force hacking method's ,i was think about the more suble things...

(like ,what about an extra file server )

Probably he signs up for free accounts so he doesn't care whether it gets email bombed/banned. A guy from an anti-pokemon site I used to go to signed up six times under four addresses to rant about how us haters were morons and idiots. Unfortunanely the admin didn't come too often and he was the only person that could ban. This guy ran loose with scissors for at least a month under one alias before he got banned. Came back the next day.

I see this thread was started about 10:00 ET last night. I was on when the onslaught was going on, and I checked, and sent PMs to some of mods at 6:45 ET (thanks Duke of M for the PM thanking me.) Whatever. That whole thing was something else. I was here in sitefeedback, and saw it. Then he did Civ 3 newbies thread. And everywhere!

Nope, it's an Ikonboard.

The point I was trying to make is that it's not fully possible to keep anyone out. He can sign up for new email addresses and close them when he's banned - he can go to a friend's house or the library if his ISP cancels him - can find a new ISP - and so on.
