When I enter the world builder there are a bunch of circles everywhere, especially red ones, does anyone know what they mean? I'm playing the Revolutions mod atm, don't know if they appear in normal civ.

I'm afraid I don't know what they mean, either. I hope someone answers this, but apparently no one knows or no one feels like it :(

I haven't used the world builder very much, but I've never seen any rec circles. And I've never used any mods, so I'd take a look at the mod you are using.

I've seen them too and I use Legends of Revolution mod. And I too wonder what they mean.

I saw a couple outside of WB, I think it was when I was zoomed in to max because a Wonder just finished. I saw them in the background. Very strange.

i thought red circles meant the computers best idea for a city settlement but theres to many for those to be that

It has to do with the AI city site evaluation, and they only show up when in debug mode, which is what it's designed for (checking AI decisions in debug mode). World Builder effectively trips debug mode, so that's why you see them there. I'd just ignore it, this was mainly something jdog set up for himself, and for other modmakers to check on the AI's city site evaluation code. By the way a site the AI is itself considering will be the color of the civ, the red circle is more generalize I believe; if I remember correctly the red circle indicates a high value founding location that no civ wants to, or can't settle; you would need to ask jdog though in the BetterAI or Revolutions forum.
