Reinstalled; new EXE`s can`t "find" game

Civ. Complete

Had to start over on a new install, game runs fine unmodded but when I try to uppdate the Warlords exe it tells me I don`have what it takes. In other words; security has cane so far that it don`t anylonger recognise the original game.

The BTS uppdate went in even if I got a "can`t find"-message there too, but the WL exe don`t accept even older uppdates like 2.08 and the 1.74 exe can`t find anything

civ complete is already patched to 1.74 and 2.13 so they didn't bother making them aware of the fact that it exists (the patches were released prior to complete).
The BtS update is all you need, if its the US version of Complete you also need the Colonization patch.

How can I get the Colonisation-mod? Tryed downloading the 1.1 but it couldn`t find the Civ4 install..

Colonization is another game, not a mod for Civ 4. Did your version of Complete come with Colonization?

Okay, as I thought. No, it wasn`t that complete

yeah - 2k thought that it couldn't possibly be confusing that Complete in the US came with Colonization and Complete in Europe didn't

Even more confusing, the Complete sold by Steam in the UK does include Colonization!
