Release time (not US)

Hi all. Was curious what date and time the game is unlocked from Steam for the non-US part of the world?

I was hoping for 00:00 GMT Friday 24th Sept, which is about 10am here (Aust).

But I'm guessing it is 07:00 Seattle Time Friday 24th Sept, which is actually actually midnight Saturday 25th Sept!

One whole day later. This is unbearable!

It's generally around noon the day of release. Different games vary a bit, some unlock at 10am some unlock at 1pm (this one seems to be 10am).

I take it you are talking about Canadian time? In which case, that puts it at 3-5am Saturday morning for me.

it will unlock whenever it is supposed to in your region. if the release date is 24th, then it will be around 10am or 1pm on the 24th where ever you live I believe.

I think you may need to take a look at a map of the world's time zones. There is no Canadian time zone, we share the same ones as the USA (except Newfoundland). VALVe is based in/near Seattle and as such is in PST/PDT. As such it probably unlocks at 10 AM. Though the countdown on STEAM itself indicates 8 AM PST.

Well, I'll be at work when it releases as it's midnight for the 24th (less than 3 days) for the UK. I work nights and weekends - so it's released a few hours into my first shift of the week. At least I'll have the demo in the meantime.

From what the Steam site is showing it should be 9am Sydney time on the 24th. Unless I've somehow got this wrong.

Oh that hour's going to make a liftetime of difference!
