I generated Holy site & generated Apostle & mercenary & preached my religion to my city. Now other religion's apostle & mercenary preached their religion to my city & killed my apostle & msrcenary. " Now when i again generate my apostle & mercenary, they also preach the others religion " which is allready preached by others. Now please please tell me how can i generate my apostle that preach the religion that i have found.

If your religion is no longer the majority religion in any city, your only hope may be to build Mahabodhi Temple, which gives you two apostles of your religion.

once you religion is wiped out and the Mahabodhi Temple is no longer an option you are pretty much screwed. in the future make an apostle than make it launch an inquisition. make inquisitors and place them around and let apostles attack them they make good tanks. than have your apostles move in and finish them off.

Losing city religion is a lot like losing the city in combat - unless you have other cities you can generate Missionaries from, that preach your one religion, then you are a bit unfortunate. I won my first religion victory last night at King level, and I lost count of the number of times in the mid-game my cities flipped. Although I did find that once I converted most of an opponents cities to my religion, they seemed to become overwhelmed and stopped generating their own missionaries and apostles.
